So many
areas of the city and its environs – French Quarter, Faubourg
Marigny, Garden District, Uptown, Algiers, swamplands and beyond
– have their own unique heritage and flavor. And each has
special stories to tell; some are about history, culture, architecture
or art. Some reveal legends of music; others explore the region’s
nature, wildlife and watery terrain.
New Orleans is legendary. No visit is complete without a tour
of the city's historic French Quarter, a bustling cultural center
and the heart of New Orleans. The French Quarter features a host
of live music, which offer everything from traditional New Orleans-style
jazz to rock to country. Your students will also want to visit
Mardis Gras World where the will learn how the legendary floats
are made and eat King Cake. We will also take your group on a
swamp tour where alligators will swim along side your boat while
you get to feed them.
